Kogi born Social critic, Comrade Usman Austin Okai has been honoured this time around by Igala social lounge as ‘Igala Political Personalty Of The Year’.
The award, first of its kind was bestowed on Comrade Usman Austin Okai for his relentless services to humanity in the areas of social services, good governance politic and as well economic development among others.
Comrade Okai has been in the forefront of political struggle in Nigeria, Kogi in particular in his efforts to ensure standard democratic norms is practiced.
According to the body, Comrade Okai was singled out for honour as result of his untiring efforts for strong and egalitarian society, through political participation.
This is aside commendation from well meaning Nigerians and kogites both at home and in the diaspora of his desire for good governance in Nigeria and Kogi state.
The media Blogger was severally honoured by youth groups,political stake holders for a job well done,particularly to sustain the democratic tenets.
