Chairman Toto local government council, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has promised to administer the local government area in accordance with the wishes of the people.
A statement from the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Chairman on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Idris, says Hon. Tasha’s made the declaration when he led Council Officials on Monday to Umaisha on a thank you visit to the Speaker Nasrawa state House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.
According to the statement,
the Executive Chairman thanked the Speaker for his immense contribution to the success of the ruling APC and it’s candidates during the local government council election.
“We are in Umaisha specifically to thank and reassure you of our administration’s willingness to provide live touching programs that will have direct bearing to the people”. Hon Tasha’s told the Speaker.
He described Nasarawa speaker as a leader of great wisdom who doesn’t tolerate failing and promised to emulate him by putting up efforts to serve diligently and in line with their campaign promises to the people of Toto LG.
Receiving the council officials at his Umaisha residence, Nasarawa Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe expressed gratitude to God for keeping all alive and for making them leaders to serve their people irrespective of religion and tribal differences.

“You must make a difference by using your present office, connection and learn from your predecessors, and performing better today will count you among the best brains that have done one or two things for their people.
“There is no excuses in governance. The only thing that matters is giving back to the society because there is always time for accountability.” He said.
The Speaker used the opportunity to invite the entire council officials for his wedding slated for 27 November, 2021.
The Executive Chairman was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Abubakar Haruna Kwanakis, Speaker of the legislative arm of the council, councilors, aides and security details of the Chairman.
