Yahaya Idris Toto, a youth leader has lauded the efforts of Toto local government political leader and Speaker of the Nasarawa State house of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for giving the youth sense of belonging in party politics and general governance of the council.
Yahaya Idris Toto, gave the commendation following the nomination of a former councillor who represented the good people of Toto ward in the council, Hon. Kwanakis H. Abubakar as Deputy Chairmanship candidate ahead of October 6 council election in the area, describing his choice as divine affirmation.
He says the youth constituency never had it so good as its presently witnessing massive transformation under the purposeful leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi whose leadership center on empowering the downtrodden as part of efforts to minimize youth restiveness, crime and as well create job opportunities to teeming youths among other things.
Other leaders commended include, serving lawmaker representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, Commissioner for Health, Hon. (Pharm.) Ahmed Baba Yahaya, Director General Pension Bureau Nasarawa State, Alhaji Abdullahi Sani Oseze, former and serving leaders and as well all other party stakeholders for their collective support to the youths in the area.
Idris Toto in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Toto, the local government headquarters, noting that the major empowerment that is so important is what the critical stakeholders has embarked upon which is bridging the gap of the youth and governance in the area.

He said Toto LG today is in the eye of the world having leaders like the present occupiers of leaderships that are determine, focus and eager to provide needed leadership qualities to the people without considering nepotism, bias, self-centered, tribalism and religion. He said.

According to him, the youths across the council have unanimously conferred on him the youth mentorship award for his commitment and sincerity of purpose towards providing good leadership to the people of the area. He stated.
He promised to tour round the council and canvass for the candidature of Tasha/Kwanakis as candidate to beat in October 6 election.
