When asked if the team  will be playing in the next season’s  Amateur Division or not, the club administrator said “playing in the Amateur division is not my wish nor plan for the team however,  arrangements are already being put in place to ensure that Kogi United return to the big stage in a dramatic way

“We are perfecting plans for a more viable, result-oriented, vibrant and competitive Kogi United come next season and this is going to be ensured through acquisition of quality players and some partial overhauling of the team”
