Yes, I am qualified as an indigene of Okehi Local Government Council, an Ebiran, to want to contest. Moreover, our people, especially the youths initiated this movement; they organized themselves, consulted the elders, met and resolved to confront me with an appeal that I should accept and contest for the chairmanship because they appreciate my style of carrying them along during my time as a councillor.

Question: But is your ambition merely a reflection or reaction to the call on you to contest or what?

Answer: Well, before their call on me to contest for the chairmanship, I nursed that ambition for long and I have been looking forward to the good government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to fully constitute the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) which he has magnanimously done and thus set the pace for Chairmanship and council polls to hold. I already have my programmes that would help improve lives of my people. But this can only happen or I can only deliver these programmes while at the helm of the affairs of the local government. As a citizen and as a good ambassador, I want to head Okehi council in order to demonstrate my experience, my talent in democracy. It is a platform that would enable me provide better services to my people, develop human, capital and social development, among others.
