“YOUTHS OWN THE POWER” – Afenifere for Collective Transformation ACT
We own the power to identify and go for what we want. As the category of citizens with the highest population, we own the power to determine who is elected as President in Nigeria.
We own the power to mobilise voters across the Country for a candidate of our choice. We own the power to determine the prosperity of our generation and generations behind us.
We own the power to intellectually change the narrative of our Country as being done in Kogi State today.
We own the power to harmonise our resources together to synergize and coordinate campaigns for our only candidate, Governor Yahaya Bello which we have been doing and readily prepared to do more.
Above all, we own the power to install Governor Yahaya Bello as President come 2023.
It is important for Nigerians, especially the youths to realise that the opportunity is here for us to liberate ourselves from political bondage and slavery which the old generation has put us.
The time is now to send our grandfathers to compulsory retirement politically and allow them watch us grow and develop Nigeria from where they stopped.
They have given Nigeria their best in their youthful and young age and it’s best they allow us do the same before the next generation overthrow us.
Life is a phase, the phase of maximum productivity is between the ages of 18 and 45years which many of us are presently while above 50 years are to sit back and play the roles of mentor, advisers and role model.
Afenifere For Collective Transformation (ACT) is calling on Nigerian youths not to miss this opportunity of Governor Yahaya Bello becoming President come 2023.
We must realise and make it a duty to own the President Yahaya Bello mandate. It is not a fight for Governor Yahaya Bello but an opportunity for us to use him as our ladder to the top politically.
Going from the South to the North, no other youth and young Nigerian is well positioned to claim this presidency other than Governor Yahaya Bello.
He belongs to the ruling party which will obviously win the election.
He comes from the North Central that has never produced a President since 1999.
He’s a sitting Governor whose performance supercedes many of his contemporaries across the Country.
Finally, a god-fearing man who is people oriented and truthful to all, especially when he could play politics and collect money from the claim of Covid-19 but decided to stand by the people.
These are the qualities in the young Nigerian that Afenifere for Collective Transformation is advocating for as President come 2023.
As we look forward to seeing 23rd of May, 2021, Afenifere for Collective Transformation call on all Nigerian youths to own this mandate, Theme: YOUTHS OWN THE POWER must begin to reflect across the Country and be our collective slogan going into 2023 Presidential election.
