The senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT have assured people of Ibwa community in Gwagwalada area council of Abuja, more social amenities in the area.
Aduda, who gave the assurance during his campaign tour to the community on Saturday, ahead of February, 25 general election, pledged to continue to give priority to infrastructural and human development across the FCT.
He, however, urged the people of Ibwa community not to allowed some politicians to use tribal sentiment to convinced them in order to get their votes, saying when he provided electricity to the community, he did not consider a particular tribe before doing so.
He, therefore, urged the people of Ibwa community to come out of enmass on February 25, 2023 to cast their votes for PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, Senator Phillip Aduda and the incumbent house of representative member for Abuja south, Alhaji Hassan Usman Sokodabo.
Aduda, appreciated the people of the community especially youth and women for their continuous support for him, even as he promised to take over the completion of Paiko – Ibwa road and dilapidated school in the area.
Also speaking, the director general of Atiku Abubakar PDP presidential campaign in the FCT, Mr Ezikel Dalhatu Musa, called on people of the community to ensure they vote for all the PDP candidates during the February 25, 2023 general election.
He said only the PDP has the manifestos that to tackle the challenges bedevilling the country, even as he emphasized that voting for Senator Aduda, will be of a great advantage to the well being of the good people of FCT.
On his part, the Ibwa ward PDP chairman, assured senator Aduda, that the people community will deliver the party 95 percent for all party’s candidates during the February 25, 2023 general election in the area.
“You see, the APC are bragging that they will deliver the party during the February 25, 2023 general election in Ibwa is a lie, I want to tell you our distinguished senator that PDP is fully on ground in Ibwa and we shall deliver all the candidates come February 25tb 2023, God’s willing,” he said.
