2027: Galadima Ambassadors joins coalition, predicts ADC success in Nasarawa
By Yahaya Idris, Nasarawa
Galadima Ambassadors, a political support group based in Nasarawa State, has officially collapsed its structure into the African Democratic Congress (ADC), following an emergency meeting of its leadership.
The group is known for supporting the senatorial ambition of ESV Dr. Umar Musa Galadima (Galadiman Marmara) for the Nasarawa West Senatorial District.
Galadima Ambassadors consists of youth leaders and party members from across the five local government areas of Nasarawa West.
The group has been instrumental in mobilizing grassroots support for Dr. Galadima, who is recognized for his philanthropy and influence in the western region.
Dr. Umar Musa Galadima, a traditional title holder and former PDP senatorial candidate, is widely regarded as a strong contender for the 2027 Senate race in Nasarawa West. His popularity stems from years of community empowerment and his standing as Galadiman Marmara.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has recently become the adopted platform for a coalition of opposition leaders and groups seeking to challenge the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The ADC’s coalition drive has attracted notable politicians and support groups from other parties, aiming to build a formidable opposition through grassroots mobilization and inclusion.
The decision by Galadima Ambassadors to join the ADC is expected to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in Nasarawa West and boost Dr. Galadima’s senatorial prospects under the new coalition arrangement.
This move reflects a trend of political realignment in Nasarawa State and across Nigeria, as support groups and politicians seek new platforms to advance their ambitions and influence the 2027 electoral landscape.
Addressing the press regarding their resolution, Barr. Kabir Abubakar Dogara and Ms. Mariya Khalid, in their separate statements, noted that due to the unending leadership crisis within the PDP, the forum unanimously agreed to join the ADC.
According to the group, ADC appears to be the most hopeful platform for the masses, guaranteeing peace, security, and ensuring political and socioeconomic development of the nation.
While calling on Dr. Umar Musa Galadima to leave the PDP and join the ADC as soon as possible, the duo emphasized that only the promising ADC can conveniently oust the devastating APC and its leaders at all levels.

In a similar remark, the Chairman of the Galadima Ambassadors, Comr. Idris Ojoko reiterated that the only successful way for Dr. Umar Musa Galadima to win the Senatorial election in 2027 is to join the ADC, a party believed to be pro-masses and accepted by the majority of Nigerians.
