Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has commissioned the grand Masjid Zaidan aimed to boost religious activities and supplications for the Muslim community.

The event sparked widespread jubilation, showcasing community unity and support for Islamic worship. The commissioning underscores Wadada’s dedication to promoting faith-based initiatives.

Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada’s grand Masjid Zaidan was commissioned in a joyous ceremony, fostering an environment that promotes religious activities and prayers among the Muslim community.

A prominent Muslim cleric, Sheikh Dalhatu Abubakar Abdullahi Kantana, called on wealthy individuals to utilize their resources in the service of God.

The Vice Chairman of JIBWIS National Headquarters in Jos made the appeal during the commissioning of the magnificent Masjid Zaidan, built by Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, along the Keffi-Abuja expressway.

The ceremony, which drew prominent government officials and dignitaries from within and outside Nasarawa State, was officiated by Sheikh Dalhatu Abubakar Abdullahi Kantana, Vice Chairman of the Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) National Headquarters in Jos.

Sheikh Dalhatu further emphasized that the mosque, if utilized effectively, would bring about spiritual transformation in the lives of Muslims.

He counseled the congregation to avoid actions that could tarnish their image in the society just as he offered prayers for Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, wishing him the strength and resources to continue doing good for the people.

In his remarks, Senator Wadada expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the successful completion of the mosque, Masjid Zaidan.

He emphasized that all religions preach peace and urged the faithful to assist one another, regardless of differences.

“Let us use our resources to build a better society for all,” he said.

The Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, who represented the state government, commended Senator Wadada for providing a place of worship for the Muslim community.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who represented the State Executive Council, and the Odyong Nyankpa, speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, both lauded Senator Wadada’s efforts and urged the Muslim community to utilize the mosque to pray for peace and unity in Nasarawa State and Nigeria as a whole.

The commissioning of the mosque is a significant milestone in the development of the area.
