The Governor Abdullahi Sule for Senate 2027 Independent Campaign Organization has officially commenced its grassroots mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to canvass support across the 35 electoral wards in Nasarawa North Senatorial District to ensure the victory of Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule at the polls.
The commitment was made during the organisation’s inaugural meeting held on Sunday at the Conference Hall of the VIP Guest House in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
Speaking at the meeting, the Director General of the Independent Campaign Organization, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani, said the group’s primary mandate is to galvanise massive grassroots support for Governor Sule’s senatorial ambition while complementing the efforts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the official campaign structure.
According to him, the campaign organisation has carefully selected its local government, zonal and ward coordinators based on their dedication, credibility and commitment to promoting good governance and development.
He described Governor Abdullahi Sule as a visionary leader whose achievements, particularly in infrastructure development, have transformed communities across the three local government areas that make up the Nasarawa North Senatorial District.
“Governor Sule has demonstrated exceptional leadership through his developmental projects and commitment to improving the lives of the people. Our responsibility is to mobilise support across all 35 electoral wards to ensure his victory in the 2027 election,” Shuaibu Sani stated.
Also addressing members, the Nasarawa North Zonal Coordinator of the organisation, Mr. Kasimu Lanze, commended members for volunteering their time and resources to support the campaign.
He urged all coordinators to remain committed to grassroots mobilisation, expressing confidence that Governor Sule and all APC candidates would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
Following the meeting, Rt. Hon. Shuaibu Sani led members of the organisation on a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Governor Abdullahi Sule for Senate Campaign Council, Bala John, popularly known as “Coach Bally,” at the campaign office in Akwanga.
During the visit, Shuaibu Sani explained that the Independent Campaign Organization was established to complement the activities of the main campaign council and appealed for greater collaboration to achieve their shared objective.
Responding, Bala John appreciated the delegation for the visit and encouraged members to focus on issue-based campaigns centred on Governor Sule’s achievements and vision for Nasarawa North.
He maintained that Governor Sule remains a strong and marketable candidate, citing his impressive record of infrastructural development and impactful governance across Nasarawa State.
Coach Bally further urged members of the organisation to sustain peaceful mobilisation and continue engaging voters on the developmental strides of the governor as the campaign gathers momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting marked the official commencement of the Independent Campaign Organization’s activities, with members expressing optimism that their grassroots mobilisation strategy would strengthen support for Governor Abdullahi Sule’s senatorial bid and contribute to the APC’s success in Nasarawa North.
