The 15th Ohinoyi-Nyiwo of Gegu Beki Chiefdom, HRH. Alhaji Mohammed Abba Alhassan on Sunday, conferred Chieftaincy tittle to some illustrious sons within and outside Kogi Local Government Area who have distinguished themselves various endeavors and have contributed immensely to the development of Gegu Beki.

Reacting to the development, Hon. Momoh Alhassan, councilor representing Ukwo ward and majority leader of the council expressed joyed over Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa coronation, saying its a welcome development which will spur him to do more.

He said Barrister Tanko has performed credibly when he served as an Administrator of Kogi Local Government where he attracted meaningful development to the area and hence to encourage him.

According to him, the Osuku born finest lawyer has over the years sacrifice so much for his people and service of humanity.

He described his coronation as attestation to his leadership qualities which he said had laid a solid foundation to the council when he served.

“I am overwhelmed with his new Chieftaincy tittle. It is well deserved one and a welcome development in view of his contribution to the development of Kogi LG”.

Global Times Nigeria report that Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa and others had been conferred with Chieftaincy tittle by the 15th Ohinoyi-Nyiwo of Gegu Beki Chiefdom, HRH. Alhaji Mohammed Abba Alhassan in commemoration of his 2nd year anniversary.

The event was attended by State Commissioner for Minerals and Natural Resources, Engineer Abubakar Mohammed Bashir Gegu, Executive Chairman of Kogi Local Government, Hon. Abdulkarim Isah Bala ECOMOG, various chiefs from near and far and others dignitaries.
