A famous politician in Nasarawa State and serving Ambassador to Sweden Musa Ilu Mohammed today gave out his daughter Aishat Musa Mohammad for marriage to her beloved husband, Asad Yusuf amidst mammoth crowds and Jubilation from well-wishers who throng Lafia, Nasarawa State capital for the event.
The marriage Nasarawaation which took place at the Emir palace Central mosque lafia was officiated by the Chief Imam of lafia mallam Dalhatu Dahiru following the payment of 100,000 naira as dowry.
Some dignitaries from far and near who grace the event pray to God to grant the new couple a peaceful home devoid of rancour and acrimony.
The event brought together traditional rulers, politicians and associates of the Ambassador among whom were the former Governor of the state and his deputy then, and now serving Senator who represent Nasarawa South Senatorial District of the State Alhaji Umaru Tanko Al-makura and Mr Silas Ali Agara.
The State Deputy Governor Dr Emmanuel Akabe stood in for the Governor of the State Engineer Abdullahi Sule at the wedding.
Also present at the event was Rt.Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House Assembly and was accompanied by Hon Ibrahim Alkali member representing (lafia North) among others attended the wedding fatiha.
