Education: Gov. Sule directs TSC to employ more teachers in Nasarawa

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the recruitment of additional qualified and competent teachers for public schools in the State.

This was contained in a statement signed by Secretary, Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission Usman Labaran Shafa and made available to Newsmen in Lafia the state capital today.

According to the statement, the move was inline with Governor Abdullahi Sule administration’s commitment to enhance the education sector of Nasarawa State to meet global best practice and to ensure that the teaching sector gets maximum requirement.

The statement however called on applicants who sat for computer-based test (CBT) organized by State Bureau for Information and Communication Technology (BICT) to appear for interview and screening beginning from Monday next week.

According to the statement, applicants are expected to come along with original copies of their credentials after checking their names on the commission’s portal.
