PAAU MATRICULATION: KOGI STATE GOVT. ASSURED STUDENT OF SAFETY AND STRIKE-FREE ACADEMIC SESSION

 

 

Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Idris Musa (Danjuma Oando) has assured the newly matriculated Students of the Prince Abubakar Audu University PAAU, of a strike-free academic sessions and their safety within and outside the Campus.

Hon. Idris made the promise at the 22nd Matriculation ceremony of the institution in Anyingba where 6,015 students were matriculated.

The Youth Commissioner congratulated them on the feat, pointing out that they were considered for admission among other thousands of candidates who applied and urged them to justify their admission through their academic performance.

He commended the efforts of the Vice Chancelor of PAAU University, Professor Marietu Tenuche and her teaming academicians at changing the academic narratives of the institution for good.

Hon. Idris charged the students to take advantage of the unique Programmes offered by PAAU, avoid all forms of social vice’s raging from Examination malpractice, drug abuse, cultism among others, calling on them to be committed to outstanding and purposeful academic pursuits.

He also lauded Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello’s untiring efforts at creating enabling environment for the education sector in the State to thrive, describing such as purposeful leadership.
