Eid-el-fitr: Senator Aduda pays homage to Buhari at Aso villa

The senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday, paid a sallah homage to President Muhammad Buhari at the Aso rock villa to mark the Eid -el-fitr celebration.
Aduda, who joined the company of the FCT minister Muhammad Musa Bello, senate president, Senator Ahmed Lawan, was also received by the vice president, Prof Yemi Osibanjo as well as some top government functionaries.
He, however, felicitated with the president and entire members of his family over as they mark the Eid -el-fitr sallah celebration, even as he prayed for God accept the president Ibadah through out the Ramadan fasting period.
He, therefore, commended the President for tolerating everyone including the opposition.
In his response, Buhari appreciated Senator Aduda for paying him a sallah homage, saying he is overwhelmed with his achievements as senator representing the good people of the FCT.
He urged him to continue with his quality representation that will enhance him to set a good for the good people of the FCT to emulate.

On his part, the FCT minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, described Senator Aduda as a bridge builder despite being in the opposition party, even as he said he regretted for not wooing him in to APC despite his remarkable achievements in the senate.
He jokingly suggested that he should be posted to Ukraine as an ambassador amid laughter.
