Eid-El-Kabir: Vice chair Olamaboro LG felicitates Muslims, says may Allah grant their prayers
The Vice chairman of the Olamaboro local government area in kogi state, Hon.(Mrs) Blessing Aisha Ekele congratulates Muslims in her constituency and all over the world as they mark the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir on Wednesday today.
Hon. Ekele disclosed this in a statement in Lokoja to newsmen, as she preaches the virtue of peace and sacrifice to all.
She said today marks the eloquent testimony of faithful Muslims in adherence to the injunction of the prophet of Allah, prophet Muhammad to Muslims all over the world, as they celebrate the father of faith, prophet Ibrahim, the best friend of Allah for his faithfulness to the will of Allah.
The Magajia 1 of Uke kingdom in Nassarawa state who is a Christian by faith called on the Muslims umah in her constituency to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith of prophet Ibrahima who is being celebrated today in the whole universe.
The Vice chairman therefore called on the people of his constituency to maintain peace and order while celebrating Eid-El-Kabir with fanfares by sharing love with one another , including non muslims .
“The significance of today’s celebration is the essence of sacrifice and love sharing in the world of humanity in tandem to the faith of the prophet of Allah, Ibrahim.
” It’s a legacy we must keep and seen to be expressing with one and another for a peaceful society.
” The lesson prophet Ibrahima expressed behold us as a leader or led to fear Allah in our doings and dealings, including helping one another in the trying times at this period in this generation.
“I wish you all a happy and fruitful celebration devoid of rancour and acrimony. May the blessings of today’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration abide with us and our families. Happy Eid-El-Kabir to you all !”, she said.
Equally, the Vice chairman commended the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and his team, the chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) and his Muslim executive members, all the Muslims political appointees and elected members to the position of trust in all cadres of democracy, including Muslim monarch and traditional title holders for their resilient and cooperation that keep the state wholesomely today .
