Insecurity: Kebbi Deputy Governor Attends Interment Of Late Police DPO, Others Killed In Sakaba LGA.
Following the recent attack by gang of daredevils in Kebbi community leading to wanton destruction and loss of lives, Dr Sama’ila Yombe Dabai mni, the Deputy Governor of Kebbi state, who represented Governor Bagudu, was among the hundreds of people that attended the funeral prayers of late SP Jimoh Abdullahi, Divisional Police Officer of Sakaba LGA along side 2 others in Sakaba local government.
Global Time Nigeria had learnt that the late DPO was among the nine police officers and the 3 vigilante killed during the gun battle with armed bandits in Makuku area of Sakaba local government on Sunday.
The deceased patriotic citizens included Divisional Police Officer, S.P Jimoh Abdullahi, Inspector Crime Aliyu Ibrahim, Inspector Nathan Langa, Inspector Suleiman, Inspector Simon Linglong, Inspector Samson Stephen, Inspector Borniface, Sgt. Ajimomo, Sgt. Jonathan James who were among the mobile police officers deployed to Zuru Emirate to fight armed banditry as well as Vigilante Group Members; Umaru Dantaru, Audu Fesse and Arage Yadga.
The Deputy Governor in a condolence message on behalf of the State Government said the deceased officers have paid a supreme price in the course of defending their fatherland and described death as unavoidable, urging their family members to bear the loss and prayed to Allah to grant their souls eternal rest.
In a related development, Sama’ila Yombe Dabai while interacting with refugees, said governor Bagudu is concerned and disturbed by the situation, thereby commended his unrelenting efforts on security, adding that more security will be deployed to the area pledging the State Government’s readiness to providing the needed support aimed tackling the menace.

The host chairman of Sakaba Local Government Council, Hon. Auwal Dan Hausa, representatives of the Emir of Zuru, Chief of Sakaba, District heads, security agents as well as notable individuals were among the people that attended the burial.
