To join Muslims in the celebration of Maulud, the Birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has called on the Muslims to always strive hard and copy from the exemplary life of the Noble Prophet of Islam.
“It is with greater pleasure and unending joy, that on behalf of the government and people of Kano state, I Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the Governor of Kano state, rejoice with all the Muslims on this Day of the Birth of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Bin Abdullah, Peace and Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him,” he said.

He urged Muslims to continue remaining in peace with one another irrespective of religious and/or ethnic differences, adding that, the only safer and healthier way to live is to follow the footsteps of the Holy Prophet.
“We know how our Noble Prophet lived his life and how he directed his followers to live theirs. The fact that he loves us more than the way we love ourselves, is another reason why we must follow his lifestyle,” he reminded.
Governor Ganduje assured that his administration would continue to promote peace and tranquility among people all the time and under whatever circumstances.
