Dear Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)

I stand before you today with immense pride and gratitude as I formally join the ranks of the PDP in Edo State.

This moment is not just a personal milestone but a commitment to our shared vision of progress, development, and prosperity for our beloved state. I am deeply honoured by the warm welcome and the overwhelming support I have received from each one of you.

As we approach the governorship election in September, I am filled with a great sense of purpose and determination. Our Edo state faces significant challenges, and it is our collective responsibility to address them with boldness, integrity, and a clear vision for the future. I Victoria Amu is ready to co-lead with Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr Osarodion Ogie, and our party to victory, we will champion the causes that matter most to our people, and to implement policies that will bring tangible improvements to the lives of all Edo citizens.

Our journey to victory will be a testament to our unity, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the values we hold dear. Together, we will build a campaign that resonates with every LGA, Ward, voting unit and community as the goal addresses the real needs of our people, and that inspires hope and confidence in our leadership. I call upon all party members, my supporters, and my well-wishers to join hands with me in this endeavor. Let us march forward with determination and courage, knowing that our collective efforts will usher in a new era of growth and prosperity for Edo State.

Once more, ladies and gentlemen, today is one of happiest days of my life. I have just been delivered from 18 years of Political wilderness in the APC. Thank you, and may God bless us all as we embark on this crucial journey together.

Warm regards,

Victoria Amu
