RCCG RMF National Coordinator Inaugurates Kogi Region 24 Executives, Urges Men to Build Godly Homes

The National Coordinator of the Redeemed Men Fellowship (RMF), Pastor Oluremi Oluboba, has called on men to embrace responsible family leadership and uphold godly values as a pathway to building a peaceful and morally upright society.

Oluboba made the call on Saturday during the inauguration of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) RMF executives for Region 24 at the City of Grace Regional Headquarters in Lokoja.

He was accompanied by the National Publicity Secretary of the fellowship, Pastor Olusegun Macauley.

Speaking during the event, the cleric lamented the growing moral decay in society, linking several security and social challenges confronting the nation to poor parenting and the abandonment of family values.

According to him, crimes such as cultism, kidnapping, corruption, and banditry are symptoms of broken homes and weak moral upbringing.

He therefore charged fathers and husbands to rise to their responsibilities by leading their homes in the fear of God and instilling discipline, integrity, and leadership virtues in their children.

Preaching from 2 Corinthians 5:17, Oluboba described the Redeemed Men Fellowship as a Christ-centered platform established to strengthen men spiritually, morally, and socially for effective family leadership.

“RMF is for all married men in RCCG and serves as a platform for mutual support within the body of Christ. A member must be a family man, provider, man of faith, and one who is spiritually and physically fit to lead his family in the way of the Lord,” he said.

He stressed that genuine transformation begins with accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, adding that a renewed life naturally reflects godly character and responsible leadership.

Also speaking, the Pastor-in-Charge of Kogi Region 24 and Chairman of the region’s RMF, Pastor Oluwarotimi Nathaniel, described the visit of the national leadership as a strong indication of the church’s commitment to raising godly men across the region.

Nathaniel noted that the church cannot experience meaningful spiritual growth if men fail to take their rightful positions in both the home and the church.

He described the inauguration of the executives as the beginning of a new phase for the fellowship in Region 24, expressing confidence that the new leadership would strengthen family values and spiritual commitment among members.

On the operational structure of the fellowship, the National Publicity Secretary, Pastor Macauley, explained that RMF is built on four cardinal pillars — Family, Finance, Fitness, and Faith.

According to him, the Family pillar focuses on equipping men to function effectively as husbands, fathers, and spiritual heads of their homes, while Finance emphasizes economic empowerment, financial literacy, and responsible stewardship.

He added that Fitness promotes healthy living and physical well-being, stressing that a man cannot effectively lead his family if he neglects his health.

The Faith pillar, he said, remains the spiritual foundation of the fellowship, anchored on prayer, the Word of God, integrity, and righteous living.

The newly inaugurated executives for RCCG RMF Region 24 include Pastor Oluwarotimi Nathaniel as Chairman, Assistant Pastor Odiba James as President, Dr. Banjo Bandele as Secretary, Barrister Michael Abejirin as Treasurer, Dr. Jacob Ekunwale Ayoade as Financial Secretary, Brother Ayo Fiki as Prayer Coordinator, and Mr. Michael Abu as Public Relations Officer.
