City Boy Movement to Host Grassroots Empowerment Programme in Kogi

The City Boy Movement (CBM), through the Office of the North Central Director for Contact and Mobilisation, in collaboration with its Kogi State Chapter, has announced plans to host a major grassroots empowerment initiative in the state.

According to a statement issued by the Kogi State Media and Publicity Secretary of the Movement, Blessing Julius Ele-Ojo, the programme is scheduled to hold on April 18, 2026, at the APC Secretariat in Lokoja, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The initiative, tagged Kogi State Grassroots Empowerment Programme, is aimed at promoting inclusion, strengthening grassroots engagement, and providing practical support to citizens through impactful empowerment interventions.

The organisers called on critical stakeholders, party members, and the general public to attend and actively participate in the event.

The statement reaffirmed the Movement’s commitment to advancing people-oriented programmes and fostering broader participation in its activities across the state.
