Eid-El-Fitri: Vice chair Olamaboro LG, Mrs Blessing Aisha Ekele felicitates Muslims

The Vice chairman of Olamaboro Local government Area in Kogi state, Mrs (Hon) Blessing Aisha Ekele congratulates Muslims faithful, urging them to reflect on the lessons and virtues of the Ramadan period.

Hon. (Mrs) Ekele disclosed this in a sallah message to newsmen on Friday in Lokoja.

She extended her warmest greetings and best wishes to the Muslim Ummah in her council and Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala federal constituency.

She said the spiritual month of Ramadan is a period for deep reflection, self-discipline and rededication, including recommitting oneself to will of God (Allah).

“The period of Ramadan is a spiritual space to uphold the values of generosity, kindness, compassion towards one another.

“It’s s also an avenue to pray for peace, unity and progress for ourselves, families , communities ,state and the country in general.

“The marking of Eid El- Fitri today, Friday is therefore a celebration of a renewed commitment to build a better and prosperous society.

“This spiritual rejuvenation and cleansing during the Ramadan period has therefore empowered us to creat a just and equitable society by our doings”, she said

The Magajia 1 of Uke kingdom wished all the Muslims in her community, state and Nigeria a happy and blessed Eid-el-Fitri celebration,

“May God (Allah) accept our prayers and grant us mercy”, she said.
