The Egbira National Students Association (ENSA) in the Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) has been urged to take their studies more serious in order to graduate with good grades so that they can be productive in society.

Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, federal prosecutor in the office of attorney general and Minister of justice stated this at an event to mark this year Egbira day in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

Barr. Magaji who is also vying for Nasarawa west senate seat gave out cash of 300,000 to 6 best performing students at the event.

He said his desired to assist students across all board was part efforts to redeem hardship being face by some students while struggling in the campus.

The award winning legal luminary and political juggernaut stressed for the need to invest hugely in the education, saying doing so will give room for upcoming leaders to explore using education to get the high level in life.

He took them along memory lane how he formerly served as President of Toto Students Union and his gesture was well felt ranging from scholarship among other things. The legal icon said.

An Abuja based legal practitioner, Barrister Yakubu O. Galadima advised Egbira Youths to shun social vice capable of endangering their future such as drug abuse, cultism and criminal activities if they want to succeed in life.

He said while in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) over 4 decades ago served as President of ENSA, an organization he used to empowered his fellow students especially the Egbiras extraction.

He congratulated the Egbira students for Sustaining growth and development of the association.

He urged them not to deviate and ensure they read and work-hard to graduate with good grade and supported the Students with sum 100,000 naira.

On his part, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who was ably represented by his Special Adviser, Hon. Muhammed Usman (Understanding) congratulated the Egbira students for the great feat recorded so far, calling on them to push for more while in school.

The Speaker who was overwhelmed with the behavioral attitudes of the Egbira students, urging them sustain the tempo.

Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi was special guest of honour pledged the sum of 200,000 naira as part of support and equally launched the customized book.

Alhaji Shehu Usman Osidi has described Egbira Youths as an engine room for Nigeria economy, growth and development who have made great impacts in all distinctions.

Alhaji Shehu Usman Osid is the Deputy General Manager/Special Assistant to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria made the assertion when he presented a paper at a book launch in the Nasarawa State University Keffi, NSUK, to mark the 2021 Egbira National Students Association (ENSA) day.

In the lecture he delivered, Role of Education in Enhancing Societal Development, He thanked the organizer for finding him worthy to chair the event organised to mark the ENSA Day and equally launch a customised book

Alhaji Shehu Usman Osidi pledged the sum of 500,000 for himself and Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Osada from Universal Basic Education Board Abuja.

Others speakers and donors include, Chairman Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku who was ably represented by his aide Yahaya Idris Toto commended the organizer of the event for the initiative and honour done him.

Barr. Tanko who was a former Kogi LG Chairman assured the Egbira students body that his doors are always open for them whenever they wish or want to see him.

A former gubernatorial aspirant in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Muhammed Musa Maikaya who was represented by his younger brother, Comr. Suleiman Ahmed commended the Egbira students body for finding him worthy for the honour and pledged to remain supportive to the association.

Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Commissioner for solid Minerals and natural resources, Kogi State, Executive Chairman Kogi LG, Hon. Abdulkarim Isah Bala Ecomog, DLG Kogi LG, Treasurer Kogi LG, Kogi LG Education Secretary among others honours during the event and gave their contributions supports the students to excel.

Global Times Nigeria report that over 15 eminent personalities were conferred with awards and while the event feature paper presentation, launching of customized book, dancing and singing and among others.

The event held inside the theatre art hall of the institution and it was fill to it capacity.
