The entire leadership of National Youths Council of Nigeria, Toto Local Government Council under the pragmatic leadership of Comrade Mansir Bashir Musa has joined Nasarawa populace in congratulating the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lafia, Prof Shehu Abdur-Rahman.
Chairman and Secretary of the council, Comrade Mansir Bashir Musa and Yahaya Idris Ahmed, made the disclosure in a statement at Toto Youth House on Thursday, the administrative headquarters of Toto LGC.
The Toto Youth described his appointment as timely and well deserved considering his vast experienced in education circle.
The statement also said, “we pray God to give you the zeal, strength, prerequisite wisdom to pilot your new office”.
“It is our utmost fervent prayer that you won’t let us down and we are optimistic that you will never be found wanton in your new office”.
According to the statement, Prof Shehu Abdur-Rahman is a Professor of Agricultural Economics and extension.
He is a native of Umaisha district in Toto LGA of Nasarawa State.
