Two known government hustlers; Bar. Jefferson Uwoghiren and Albert Obazee, former castaways from the Obaseki’s political circle, pay-as-you-go merchants have been commissioned and recruited to carry their miserable business of making the 11th House of Assembly a tribal blackmail war. These two disingenuous minstrels have inserted tribal sentiments into the struggle to eject Obaseki and his goons from the political face of Edo State by weeping tribal sentiments to divert attention from the real issues of failure of the Godwin Obaseki’s administration. They have alleged that though Obaseki is not a Saint, but will not allow Oshiomhole to humiliate, impeach or remove their brother forcefully.
Bar. Jefferson, was recently appointed, shamefully, as a personal lawyer to a known ex-convict – this goes to show how much he can stoop low to eat crumbs. He has no known integrity.
As for Albert, a well known anything-goes, who is never ashamed of himself, an errand boy to politicians until he left Nigeria, is not competent enough to be heard when issues of the Edo South people to which I belong is being discussed. To bring the idiotic notion of tribe into issues of governance cannot be used to blackmail the resolve of the Edo State people, including the people from the south who Obaseki has not represented well enough.
This two merchants, who cannot be called anything else than slaves are not speaking for or on behalf of the Edo South people. Bar. Jefferson, a supposed lawyer, has thrown decorum into the winds by wallowing in the state of perpetual shame. He is a shame to our people. He has been seen everywhere, obviously for pecuniary gains, hawking Obaseki to those who are not ready to buy in Edo South using the pan of tribalism.
How can any Edo freeborn be supporting Obaseki who has since openly been undermining our revered Oba? Jefferson once said Obaseki can deal with the Oba by removing him from office. Obaseki who without conscience or fear detained the mouthpiece of the Oba. Obaseki who has been up in arms with our revered Oba because of artefacts. Obaseki who has used all his powers to stop appointments of Edo sons into federal government which are initiated by the same Oshiomhole he has been fighting. Was he not the one who tried so hard without success to write to the legal committee as to deny our own son, West Idahosa SAN, from being made a Senior Advocate of Nigeria then?
Let the Benin people stop listening to Obaseki, his two-Kobo intolerable hustlers; Jefferson, Albert, SAs and SSAs. They don’t speak for us. What they are doing is hustler for pay-as-you-go menial jobs from Obaseki.
